::So, in an abandoned and severely damaged part of the Barian World, presumably near the center of it, you can find Koyo trying to get a half damaged computer operational. And it doesn't seem to be progressing well.::

Maybe it's natural deterioration. We don't know just how long we're meant to be able to exist... But it feels like her behavior could've been avoided. It's not just her, after all. It's always been a problem of repairing others, and them waking up with different outlooks, or behaviors. Loss of memories or knowledge.
But none as bad as her.

And I apologize for not being like Beagalltach was. That you have to deal with yet another stranger.

And she has become... distant. She seems to no longer really see others when they speak to her-- she instead looks through them. She secludes herself into her library. She's created strange things, including the Rank-Up-Magic cards, and seems to gain information out of nowhere that seems to help, such as relocating the Legendary Numbers. She's gone off on her own without warning, despite her importance to our goal.
You at least acknowledge me. You acknowledge us, Moralltach. Her acknowledgement feels like... pretending. Acting the part.

It's grown into an issue.

If it's such an issue, why hasn't she been confronted, again?

*he makes a sighing motion, removing his hand from the console* Besides, you know how Caduceus acts. She dodges around any accusations, and she knows she's essentially safe, so long as she's needed.
Unless we have exact, solid reasoning to confront her, it's an act of hostility at this point.

I think some friends and friends of my friends back on Earth had a similar issue with a law official.
You can tell they're crooked but nothing proves it.
no subject
It's definitely an issue, when it comes to Caduceus. But as far as we're aware, she is still helping us.
... At least, we hope so.
no subject
... I kind of want to call you old friend, but I'm not sure how rude that would be.
no subject
no subject
... You can call me an old friend. I never stopped thinking of you as one, after all.

I'll admit, I get confused as to who I'm addressing at times... Whether it's the human named "Kanzawa, Koyo", or Moralltach. But as far as I can see, you're a simultaneous existence.
Moralltach, even through his recreations, even though the moments when he's forgotten who I am, or even who he himself is, has always been my closest ally and friend. Same with Beagalltach.

I want to try. And repair it. Even just a tiny bit, if that's all we can do.
Do you mind me trying?
no subject
I'd love to see our world restored, even if it's just a little bit.
no subject
And why wouldn't I ask for your help, you cantankerous bastard.
no subject
I might still be a little sore about you and Beagalltach vanishing off, you know. *well, he doesn't really come off as angry about it, but yeah, that's fair.*

It's very easy to lose hope, especially when all hope is placed upon your shoulders.

Do you even remember, what exactly happened?
no subject
No. Everything. Is scattered fragments. Motes of dust blowing in the wind. Broken, and every time I try to follow them, they just run out of my hands.
