Not really anywhere. I mostly just wander about the ruins of what's left.

I have. Been thinking, reflecting, reminiscing. Getting lost in half empty memories.

A lot and nothing at the same time. It's not my memories, yet they are. If that makes any sense at all, Aegis.

But I'm guessing your memories are kinda conflicting a bit?

Yes. And the emotions around them. And my sense of self feels like it keeps switching back and forth. It's very. Disorienting.

Like. We're friends but at the same time you're a total stranger to me, but that feels makes my stomach crawl that I'd even think that.

Well... would it help if you got to know me, irregardless? Then at least that feeling might go away, you know. Eventually.

... Repair it to gain information. The last two Number locations mentioned this place had information / was a central data node.

Unfortunately, it looks like either the Warp or a recent attack damaged it beyond reasonable use.

I think the last of what might've been tethering this spot to the uh, rest of the planet, is what knocked it offline in the first place... But yeah, this has been kinda... Deteriorating? Like really gradually, but really obviously, too.

I don't entirely know how it could be fixed... it might be possible, but there wouldn't be much use while we're still here.

I discussed it with Failnaught. It's doable. But. It requires a lot of things and well. As you said, we need to focus on stability. But.

If only we had sort of reverse shredder...

Basically most of the Barian World should still be in the Warp.

A large number might be impossible to repair, but the more recent damage could be reversed.

Provided we had enough energy and a way to track the damaged shards that aren't too degraded.

... Basically I want to tape a torn document back together.

Wow... I never really thought about the possibility that some of our world might still exist, somewhere out there. I guess it's cause at this point... I dunno, it's been so long, and it's been torn apart so much, it felt hard to imagine anymore that it might be repaired completely.

If it's 'out there', it's in digested bits, possibly atoms small. But data can be reconstructed. Not all of it would be repaired.

And I think that would be a moral victory, wouldn't you?
