::You can find Koyo either at...
A) Sitting on one of the stone statues of Duel Academa's entrance, with notes and a unfolded table. He's jotting things down.
B) At a pleasant cafe/outdoor area attached to Labirinto, it's got a nice wooden raised deck area. He's at a table under the shade of an umbrella propped up from it. Writing down notes, and pondering to himself.
Feel free to hassle him. It's not like he's doing anything important.::

Option A
She wanders towards the statues and Koyo catches her attention.*
What are you writing?
Re: Option A
Notes.
Re: Option A
Re: Option A
::Smirk.::
Re: Option A
*Tomoko gives him a rather smug smirk back.*
And you would be completely right!
*With that, she puts the empty snack packets into a shoulder bag she has with her, then sits on the grass in front of the statue Koyo is sat on.
She definitley has no intention of going away!*
I'm Kawasaki, Tomoko by the way! I'm a first year in Ra Yellow!
Re: Option A
Kanzawa Koyo, Duel Academia's my alma mater. I work as a... I'm not actually sure what the best term for my position is, thinking about it. Consultant? Researcher?
Re: Option A
Re: Option A
Re: Option A
Huh, that's a pretty interesting. Why are you researching that specifically?
Re: Option A
Re: Option A
Guess it's probably a really neat subject to research into on it's own though too!
Re: Option A
Because you could end up dead or turned into someone else due to the nonsense this magic can perform.
Re: Option A
That's why you're researching it and I'm not!
It's still a cool thing to know about at least.
Re: Option A
But basically every ancient culture practiced some form of what we now call "Dark Games", "Games of Darkness" or "Shadow Games", as a means to obtain power, riches, glory, prosperity, or even, as I said, to reshape a person to their whims.
I'm trying to find out research that was done on the island during a previous administration.
Re: Option A
*She thinks for a moment.*
Hmn... I have heard about Dark Games before.
To be honest, I feel like I've seen one before, but it was when I was really young and I don't really remember it well. I think I was with Juudai... but it was someone else dueling...
...I just remember it being quite scary and that people were getting hurt in it.

Re: Option A
Re: Option A
Level Three lets things from other worlds crawl in, possess you, and kill people.
Re: Option A
Re: Option A
Or it can be baked into the Duel.
Imagine every Life Point lost, say, a family member becomes more of a cowardly crybaby.
Or they could be told to forget you.
Re: Option A
Re: Option A
They aren't restricted to Duels.
Any game can be turned into one.
Re: Option A
R-Really?! ANY game?
Even board games? Sports? Anythiiiing?!
Re: Option A
Hockey Pucks too.
So yes.
Any contest with a combination of luck and a little skill can be used.
Even a coin flip bet can be the basis of a Dark Game.
Re: Option A
Every game I ever play can turn into a desperate struggle for life or death.
*....'Tomoko.exe' not found.*
Re: Option A
...
Would you like some ice cream, miss?
Re: Option A
*Tomoko's head snaps up quickly and her whole demeanour changes on the mention of ice cream.*
Ice cream?? YES PLEASE!
Re: Option A
Re: Option A
[B]
Hello. Are you doing well? Is there anything that I can get you?
Re: [B]
I'm getting tired of this energy drink after the third can.
::How jacked up is he...::
Re: [B]
I'll make you a cup of coffee, then. One moment.
*she bows a little and goes in to get that prepared. some people just have higher tolerances of caffeine...?
Well, she brings out a cup, on a platter along with the creamer and sugar for you, setting it down.*
Will this be satisfactory, sir?
Re: [B]
Keep the cups coming about every 45 minutes if it's not too difficult, Miss.
Re: [B]
*she pauses a moment, pondering*
What are you writing about, anyway, if you don't mind me asking?
Re: [B]
Magical ceremonies known as Dark Games or Shadow Games.
Re: [B]
Re: [B]
I mean, you research fire arms to know their danger potential.
Re: [B]
Re: [B]
::And no, I'm not a complete sociopath!::
Re: [B]
... What have you even determined so far about it? With cultures?
