If my knowledge of weird occult history is anything to go by, the Yellow sign would be a reference to the King in Yellow. Although such a thing would presumably be just a matter of fiction.
The Fleece of Origins perhaps a reference to the Golden Fleece of Greek Myth? The Golden Fleece was the fleece of the winged ram Chrysomallos who saved Phrixus, who later sacrificed him to Zeus. That same fleece would then be stolen from King Aeetes by Jason of the Argonauts and his daughter Medea, a powerful sorceress.
Thanithu seems to have a similar etymological origin to Thanatos, the greek god of death.
It seems you've found some very bizarre things here. If there were any truth to any of it, I'd find myself rather worried.
That fleece though... if it is the golden fleece of myth, I'd rather like to see it in person. It's power would be... notable to say the least.

You'd think, but either it's referencing a similarly named sigil or concept that coincidentally shares the same name as the Chambers' stories, OR.

Someone at the abandoned dorm tried to make it an actual religion.

The Fleece of Origins

Maybe, I mostly found it on an item catalogue, and not much else, but something that is either it or standing in the place for it. I'm not sure I've seen an actual fleece among any of our items.

I do think most of this is true or they believed it true.

Most of this was buried or burned due to a former student, of what I know that others held in high regards. But. Hrm.

I have some experience with the Yellow Sign. And... I vaguely remember a Fujiwara, from my time at the academy, but what's there is hazy and papered-over.

...I feel like I should know about "The Prophecies of Flames"... "The Absolute G.O.D." also feels like it's familiar, but those two are giving me the worst migraine trying to recall.

I can give you a small report but essentially - the Yellow Sign is some... almighty gateway. Only the person with Silver Key can open it, or so I understand. I thought it had been opened but that might be my inexperience with this level of the occult speaking.

Not much. Some sort of connection to an entity of darkness that... I believe might have been erased from reality. This was over a decade ago, you must understand, it's a miracle I can recall it at all. It might have been my first supernatural occurance, even.

The Prophecies of Flame... if I remember right - and again, that's a big if - it's an apocalypse that, depending on who you asked, either has already come to pass or never came to pass.

It's... some sort of divine beast, I swear I've heard of it before but now the details are fleeing me.

On my end it's some sort of mark, or sigil or symbol or moment or location, the words involved blur to mean all of the above.

Hrm, and yet his name keeps coming up with "The Yellow Sign" or "The Golden Sign".

What was the claim of the Apocalypse in question.

Fascinating. If any details on "The Absolute G.O.D." come up, I'd love to hear, even if it's just someone's personal Enochian Gnosis or Akashic Record.

...It was something about... a Queen of Flame and the Obsidian King, and the world being reborn in fire. I think. It's been some time since I've thought about it.

There are probably some people I can ask for more details. I'm sorry I can't be more help on some of these - I only started keeping strict records a couple years after graduation - so some of this is a bit lost.

No clue! But it could be. It's just noted as being Auspicious, but the details are terribly vague and it connects with something similar to The Pure Land of Bliss, Sukhavati, or the paradises of Shangri-La or Eden.

All over it. His main focus was on really strange occult magic regarding alchemy, Enochism, and. Every side paper I keep finding seems to have his stink over it. Esotericism, Egyptian Magic, the Occult, Enochian Spirits, the Goetia, etc. You can name it, he's had his hand on it with regards to western magic.

... That sounds very strange, I'll dog ear notes to try and dig in, if you'd like.

That sounds about right from my knowledge.

...When put like that, it does make sense - something in my memory is nagging at me that he was very deep into the occult, and the Abandoned Dorm might have been his 'turf' to some degree. But we're getting into stuff well before my time, so I have little but hearsay in that regard.

Please do. I can try and corroborate anything in that regard.

If you would like, I can set you up a temporary office at OOPARTS to do some work. Everything I've managed to collect of various events and notable phenomena I've interacted with or know someone has interacted with is stored in the Twelve Peers Archival System. At the very least there was a LOT of research that was his, like he's a heavy weight but it's always on the margins never up front. Like he was never their lead research, it's always to the side and off angle.

What would you like to know from the peeled and burned copy I have.

It might be useful, I'm mostly an academic at Duel Academy doing this archaeological work to earn degrees, with the backing of the Wakahisa family. And it might.

Yeah, in which case, not surprised. I'd wager he's at least half the reason the Abandoned Dorm was off-limits when I went to school.

Give me a broad strokes overview, just to see if it lines up with what my memory is nagging at me about.

The work you're encroaching on is half the reason OOPARTS - and its predecessor, the Domino Police Special Investigations Department - were formed. We have a decent enough repository. It has holes but most everything in the archives is from primary or secondary sources from those who either witnessed or studied the events in question.

And if you have the backing of my cousins, I'm sure I can set you up with access to everything except what might be under lock and key for Current Investigations.
